An olive branch I extend,

My pride seemed so effortless,
Complex to adjust.

I compromised our union,
Faded is your trust.

Shattered your heart, won't pretend,

Anger consumed inside me,
This error now clear.

Refuse to speak in past tense,
Of love we both share.

Weary soul, faith I can lend,

Like the sand and sea.

Upon this river bank,
I'll leave my troubles here.
The journey is anew,
It weighs too much to bear.

Middle of the ocean,
Is where I'd follow you.
No fright consumes my mind,
My faith equipped for two.

These stars aligned for us,
Please take me there with you.
Hope surrounds my aura,
My peace is tried and true.

Keep this here, river bank,
The weight too much to bear.
True love will now suffice,
There is no room for fear.

Your safe haven,

And spontaneous night.

I will be your serenity,
Your tranquility,
When this world screams aloud.

This heart,
Holds no record of wrongs.
Hatred can never thrive here.

This heart,
Beats a silent tune,
Of trust, hope and love.

Tomorrow will always be anew.
The horizon I can see.
So much joy dwells in here...

My heart now beats for you,
Bad moments I'll take...
For good times i await...

However the tide turns,
We'll be in synchronized harmony.
