TO CARRY ON

Photo by Mina-Marie Michell on Pexels.com
Away from a barren desert,
Near the crystalline waterfall.
The meadow is my median,
Amidst their silence and roar,
Courage I will find.
As the petals undulated,
Beneath immobile clouds,
Transparent was the mountain top.
Through the wind and sunshine,
Endurance I will hold.
Daylight spontaneously evanesced,
A Thrush perched in the distance.
I rose, frisked myself in stride,
Between the song and dance,
Fearlessness I will shout.

OASIS…

These hands...
Harsh and worn, like a lonesome seaside rock
Diminutive in stature but with,
An overwhelming depth has consumed,
Dreams and fears... even the tears.
Time circulated like a roller coaster.
Come closer...
Convinced you know the story,
For you were there with me.
Your love...
Golden bright, as an authentic morning sunrise.
Can never outgrow the grandeur of spaciousness,
These hands have reserved for you,
Laughter with sad... even the bad.
Years flew like petals in the wind.
Come closer...
Let's both narrate the story,
For you were there with me.

DAUNTLESS…

I am enough but,
Are you worthy?
A bountiful river,
And you lack thirst!
You tread so lightly,
Yet still my water ripples.
Satisfactory abode,
Do you not see its value?
An effortless flow,
Toward a heart so vile.
Worry not about the storm,
I will not runneth over.
Sufficient in my depth,
Your meager soul, unaware.
I continue to churn in poise,
Stagnant during the raging winds.
Asserted and enough,
So please tell me -

Are you worthy?
