A ROSE FOR A ROSE

Fragrant flower for you my love,
Keepsake when I’m not around.
A replica of what we share,
Take a minute to ponder…
Crimson and vibrant,
My heart cries a joyful noise.
Each petal like time capsules,
Guarding our serendipitous souvenirs.
Oh the enchanting aroma!
That materializes solely,
From the heart that is meant for you.
Nurture this specimen, darling,
The way you feed my soul.
This beauty before you,
Stems deeper than what,
The eyes can see.
I know you will find it,
You have reigned victorious,
In the rubble that is me.
Should it wither and fade,
Never you look away…
True beauty is immortal.
Interspersed in infinity,
Ubiquitous and free.
Precise path you will surely,
Travel together with me…
Be bona fide and ready,
To turn memories into memoirs.
Vivid flower,
Momentous stepping stone,
Long live our love…

HOUSE OF PAIN…

How heavy is a heartbreak?
Is the burden immense in degree?
The air I breathe is so constricted.
My heart feels suppressed,
Not by my own free will.
This all commenced the day,
You walked out of my life.
My colorless days,
Conjoin my sleepless nights.
A damp pillow tells a somber story,
Of a heart that aches,
And a soul that weeps...
Out of left field, nowhere to turn,
You left me like a sleuth.
But my judgement was clouded,
As grey skies hang overhead
- my head.
Time my only confidant,
I trust to take things in stride.
May this pain devalue,
With each passing day.
May I grow and learn;
Walk a road of no return.
Acknowledge what stands before me,
Accept what cannot be reversed.
I will press on.
Such an extraordinary contrast,
Of someone walking into your life.
To someone walking out...

The chronicles continue.

THE HIDDEN SWORD

(photos from pixabay)

That vengeful strike of the tongue,
contrived to permanently wound,
Those colossal pillars of emotion.
Connected to the heart and mind.
Imperishable thought of what was spoken.
Where did the time go?
Emotional scars consume my inner being,
An abyss is now my home.
Can I be healed by the ray of light,
I desperately seek?
Can forgiveness be my glimmer of hope?
Legions I cannot compress.
All from a concealed weapon,
Waiting to attack with words of despair.
Beware of any duel it engages in,
Damages can be a blemish,
Forever lodged within.

FROM NOW ON…

PHOTOS BY PIXABAY

Today is my forever,
And forever here with you.
Joy will come at dusk...
But never leaving at dawn.
Such beauty in transition;
Like our love today...
A gentle wisp of wind blew,
Combined with four leaf clovers;
A nightingale sang...
Splendorous scene signifies,
The difference a day brings.
Our story begins...
May we never obstruct fate,
Keep the flame of hope burning
Tuck our vows inside...
Vanquish any stormy sea,
For you and I became one.
Forward is our stride...
May forever be timeless,
Matching our enduring love.
Look into my eyes...
Let's delight in this new day,
Beginning with my name change.

I know you,

I’ve seen you before.

Your presence is not new.

This energy;

Has coursed through my veins in the past.

I know you…

You are familiar to me.

I’ve seen you before,

Not with my eyes,

But through my soul.

This magnetic force,

Makes me feel whole.

I am your purpose,

As you are mine.

Let the sands of time pass,

Count each sunset,

Dance on every rainbow.

We can withstand,

As we did back then.

In another life; another century.

We shall continue,

Now and forever.

Here and beyond the moon…

Ageless are our souls,

Flee to any corner of this world,

And I’d find you.

For you are my missing link,

Shhh…. don’t say a word,

Just look at me.

I know you,

I’ve seen you before…
