SLOWLY DYING

Pain of a mimicked heart
Agonizing whirlwind
Jesters know the lyrics
Mimed tune for a mocking raven
Dismembered and torn
Exhausted from dangling
Repeatedly to puppeteers delight
Seized and dominated
In arduous angst
Strings perforated within
New rhythm being born
Of faint palpitations
Decaying remains surround
Ravaged carcass existent
laying motionless on the ground
Irregular beats obvious transgressor
Leaves room to ponder
Myriad of thoughts brew
In a subliminal mind
Does fate even compensate
Will a rain shower suffice
Exact amount that awakens
Wilted wildflowers dazed
From scorched brazen sunlight
Scrutiny feels like
Final nail on the coffin
Paling heartbeats
Infrequent and throbbing
A mere mortal’s prelude of
Walking an unending tightrope

TRUCE

Reflection of myself,
Clarion waters oscillate,
Seizing a moment of,
Illuminating sunlight.
Peace combines with serenity,
As bliss intricately descends,
Utopia materialized,
Before my very eyes.
So much clarity within the water,
Floating leaves motion toward me.
Tear drops begin to fall,
I've never had this surreal moment,
Nor will it happen again,.
In this Flawless sequence.
So to seize this setting,
Hold it prisoner,
In my time capsule.
Meticulously memorizing,
Each picturesque scene.
Sunbeam compliments my tresses,
Sparkle my eyes in unison,
With its forceful strike.
Standing motionless,
As leaves draw near.
Paradise exists indeed,
If we take a minute to rally,
Around these serendipitous seconds,
Encryption we may just eradicate,
From life's mystery.

CRUMBLED EMPIRE

You left her by the wayside,
Dazed and disoriented.
Bewildered eyes of a foal,
Spawned upon her face.
Eliminated and eradicated,
With the passage of,
An unsettled wind...
Though passive and poignant,
Was her evident pain,
Explosion of her world,
Detonated inside her head.
You left her near a lifeless tree,
Where a perched raven,
Gazed momentarily,
Then flew away.
Just like misery,
Jeopardy loves company.
Nowhere and no one,
To turn to except for the,
Rising of the morning sun.
With her back toward,
Your menacing grin,
In a virtuous leap of faith,
She will make that first step.
As the vivid sunshine rays,
Guides her newfound quest.

TO CARRY ON

Photo by Mina-Marie Michell on Pexels.com
Away from a barren desert,
Near the crystalline waterfall.
The meadow is my median,
Amidst their silence and roar,
Courage I will find.
As the petals undulated,
Beneath immobile clouds,
Transparent was the mountain top.
Through the wind and sunshine,
Endurance I will hold.
Daylight spontaneously evanesced,
A Thrush perched in the distance.
I rose, frisked myself in stride,
Between the song and dance,
Fearlessness I will shout.
