Let the ocean roar, my darling,
I still hear your beating heart.
The merciless waves can break upon jagged rocks,
Beneath the sunset's lavender hue.
As trials encroach,
Memorable moments stay afloat.
Bathed in love; clothed in truth.
There is peace in pandemonium,
When I look at you.
Sunshine beams through the turbulence,
Your sound a rhythmic beat.
So let the ocean roar, my darling,
You are an original masterpiece,
Painted just for me.
And I will hear you...

Engrave my name upon your heart,

Let everyone see what is inside.

But only I would know the depth.

Write a song and dedicate it to me,

The masses would undoubtedly dance,

Till the moon turned pale.

But only I would hear the words.

We’ll stroll along the sandy beach,

Leave your footprints behind mine.

Though crashing waves will surely efface them,

You will always be my guiding light.

As a priceless pearl, embedded in an oyster,

Let this world view our hardened shell.

Reserve this wondrous beauty for us only,

Allow these kindred spirits to ride off into the sunset.

For it is ours to conquer…

Heartbroken and anguished,

Sorrow, an anvil pressed upon my chest.

My love has gone…

Vanished into the sunset,

That never ending sunset, at no time to return.

Yet through my distress I remain asserted.

I will rise again.

Out of the muddy waters,

Like a Lotus.

To display great purity for the world to see.

I am hidden but not lost,

Melancholy but not despaired.

I await my break of day.

The surface, within my reach.

I will rise and bloom in wondrous fashion;

An awe inspiring beauty,

Full of peace and hope.

My awakening is destined,

Truth was never meant to be concealed.

Yes, out of the muddy waters,

I will rise again.

Just like the Lotus; the epitome of rebirth.

Such a lovely symbol,

On any given day…

I know you,

I’ve seen you before.

Your presence is not new.

This energy;

Has coursed through my veins in the past.

I know you…

You are familiar to me.

I’ve seen you before,

Not with my eyes,

But through my soul.

This magnetic force,

Makes me feel whole.

I am your purpose,

As you are mine.

Let the sands of time pass,

Count each sunset,

Dance on every rainbow.

We can withstand,

As we did back then.

In another life; another century.

We shall continue,

Now and forever.

Here and beyond the moon…

Ageless are our souls,

Flee to any corner of this world,

And I’d find you.

For you are my missing link,

Shhh…. don’t say a word,

Just look at me.

I know you,

I’ve seen you before…
