MY PET IZZY

I HAD A LITTLE PET,
A LITTLE PET NAMED IZZY.
I'D WATCH HER MOVE, INCH BY INCH,
IT WOULD MAKE ME DIZZY.
I WOULD GIVE HER A FRUIT,
A FRUIT THAT'S RED AND SHINY.
SHE BORE SOME HOLES, ONE BY ONE,
STRONG ALTHOUGH SO TINY.
I MADE HER LITTLE HOME,
A LITTLE HOME THAT'S COSY.
ONE DAY I SAW, LEGS NO MORE,
WINGS TO FLY REAL MIGHTY.
WELL CAN YOU GUESS MY PET?
MY PET THAT ONCE WAS IZZY.
LOOK FOR CLUES, LINE BY LINE,
YOU'LL FIGURE OUT SURELY!

HAVE YOU SEEN MY PUPPY?
SHE'S MISSING HERE TONIGHT.
GUESS THE ROAR OF THUNDER,
GAVE HER A JOLTED FRIGHT!
HAVE YOU SEEN MY PUPPY?
HER FUR IS WHITE AS SNOW.
WITH BLACK DOTS LIKE COOKIES,
A TIP THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW.

HAVE YOU SEEN MY PUPPY?
SHE'S SMART AND CAN DO TRICKS.
JUMPS AND CAN ROLL OVER,
AND EVEN FETCH FOR STICKS.

ALAS! FOUND MY PUPPY!
SHE CAME BACK HOME TODAY.
DRENCHED IN THE FILTHY DIRT,
BUT GLAD SHE'S HERE TO STAY.

BARNEY THE CAT

BARNEY

BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I FED HIM SO.
CHEDDAR CHEESE, IF YOU PLEASE,
EVEN COOKIE DOUGH.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I CLOTHED HIM SO.
ON HIS CHEST, DONNED A VEST,
BARE HE DOES NOT KNOW.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I SCARED HIM SO.
HE ESCAPES, ON MOM'S DRAPES,
HANGING VERY LOW.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I LOVED HIM SO.
HUGS ALL TIGHT DAY AND NIGHT,
NEVER LETTING GO.
