THE TRUTH

To tell the truth, I lost my tooth,
Oh how I feel so silly.
My plan begun, I tried to run,
And hide under the chimney.
Mom tried to help, I gave a yelp,
Oh how I feel so dizzy.
I crashed the door, then hit the floor,
When mom tried to assist me.

To my surprise, before my eyes,
Oh how I feel so happy.
In front the chairs, next to the stairs,
My tooth laid out jokingly.

MY SHADOW

I LOVE MY LITTLE SHADOW,

AND MY SHADOW LOVES ME.

WHEN I RUN TO THE CORNER,

I SEE IT INSTANTLY!

HOW IT’S THERE SO QUICK?

HAD NO TIME TO CLICK.

AT NIGHT WHEN I AM SLEEPING,

I THINK IT STARES AT ME.

AND YET WHEN I ROLL OVER,

IT’S THERE IN A JIFFY

DID IT IN A DASH,

HOW IT MOVES LIKE FLASH?

SHADOWS ARE LIKE YOUR BEST FRIENDS

VERY LITTLE TO SAY.

JUST MOVE YOUR ARMS UP AND DOWN,

IT WILL SURELY OBEY.

WHAT I SAY IS TRUE,

STICK BY YOU LIKE GLUE.

IT WILL NEVER LEAVE MY SIDE,

FOR THIS I FEEL JOLLY.

I JUST HAVE TO DIM THE LIGHTS,

NOW I’VE GOT COMPANY.

SEE YOU NOW AND THEN,

TILL WE MEET AGAIN.

I LOVE MY LITTLE SHADOW

AND MY SHADOW LOVES ME

BARNEY THE CAT

BARNEY

BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I FED HIM SO.
CHEDDAR CHEESE, IF YOU PLEASE,
EVEN COOKIE DOUGH.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I CLOTHED HIM SO.
ON HIS CHEST, DONNED A VEST,
BARE HE DOES NOT KNOW.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I SCARED HIM SO.
HE ESCAPES, ON MOM'S DRAPES,
HANGING VERY LOW.
BARNEY THE CAT WAS WAY TOO FAT,
BUT I LOVED HIM SO.
HUGS ALL TIGHT DAY AND NIGHT,
NEVER LETTING GO.
