TO CARRY ON

Away from a barren desert,
Near the crystalline waterfall.
The meadow is my median,
Amidst their silence and roar,
Courage I will find.
As the petals undulated,
Beneath immobile clouds,
Transparent was the mountain top.
Through the wind and sunshine,
Endurance I will hold.
Daylight spontaneously evanesced,
A Thrush perched in the distance.
I rose, frisked myself in stride,
Between the song and dance,
Fearlessness I will shout.

FAIREST OF ALL

Carefree as the wind...
Is my love for you.
Prolific are my words,
Pure and true.
If only you knew,
The beauty you possess.
Captivating... sheer honesty.
My love, you are,
The most beautiful girl,
In the world to me...
This cup runneth over...
Boundless for me.
Conditions... there are none,
Convinced you're my destiny.
Daylight can linger,
For your soul I see.
Abundant and everlasting.
My love, you are,
The most beautiful girl,
In the world to me...

GENTLE WOMAN

Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

She danced in the moonlight,
Hoping daylight never came.
Transition in effect;
The wounds remain the same.
Though in its vivid light,
She suppressed cutting wounds.
Sadness erased from thoughts,
Battled shame with her might.
Abyss is not her home,
Cannot fall forever.
Life is her mystery -
A maze she'd rather roam.
Glaring light fill this place!
Dawn will surely efface...
She danced in the moonlight,
Hoping daylight never came.
