The keepsakes are our memories,
We made upon this earth.
Daisies in your hair,
Thrown pebbles in a pond.
Summer nights we rain danced,
Until the break of dawn.
If I had a dime for all the times,
I made you smile.
Then again,
It could never make me wealthy,
As the gems I hold deep down inside.
Heavy is the heart,
But light were the moments...
And boy did we float!
Every now and then,
I look up to the sky.
And I smile,
Even if just for a while.
Bliss blankets my being...
And I Smile.
